***FREE*** Valentine's Day Bottle Cap Images

Valentine's Day will be here before you know it so I figured I'd better get started on Valentine's Day stuff so you will have time to use them!

FREE SCRABBLE TILE IMAGES.....CHERRIES!

I hope everyone had a great Christmas (or which ever holiday you celebrated)! Here is my gift to you...free scrabble tile images! If you don't know how to use then scroll down and I'll tell ya!

What you need:
* Photo paper (or print these off at Walmart or elsewhere)
* Scissors or 1x1" square hole punch
* Scrabble tiles (1"x1"...yes the ones from the game)
* 3D Crystal lacquer or Envirotex Lite (Mod Podge may work too I haven't tried)
* Glue or Mod Podge
* Jewelry supplies if you want to make a necklace with them.

Step 1: Print these out on photo paper or have them printed off at Walmart, Walgreens, or other another place.

Step 2: Cut each square out, either with scissors or a 1x1" square hole punch if you prefer. I use scissors.

Step 3: Using elmer's glue or mod podge glue the square image onto the scrabble tile and press to make sure it is glued down and will stay.

Step 4: Pour a small drop of your Crystal lacquer or which ever you decided to use onto it and move it around until the entire top is covered evenly. I use my finger to go around the sides if it drips. If you use mod podge, use a sponge brush to paint the image with and use about 5 coats, letting each coat dry for about 20 minutes before applying the next.

Step 5: Lay it down on something to dry. Do not lay on something you dont want ruined just in case it drips while drying. Depending on what you used, you will need to let these dry for atleast 2 hours for 3D Crystal lacquer or 24 hours for et lite. If you use Mod Podge you need to wait 20 minutes in between each coat and then 20 minutes after the final coat for it to dry all the way.

Step 6: If you want to use these as a necklace, you will need to drill a small hole in the top and insert a jump ring and your necklace. Voila! You now should have a scrabble tile necklace!

So, yeah I LOVE Twilight! I'm not totally obsessed but I do have posters, all the dvds. I pre-ordered Twilight at Hot Topic and got a free Edward hologram that only Hot Topic pre order customers got! So cool! (Well, to me anyway) I have shirts beyond shirts, a clock, Bella's ring, and tons of other stuff Im sure you don't care about so I will end your torture now.

I made these for a customer and thought I'd share them now before Breaking Dawn comes out. These are gift tags, a napkin ring, and miniature candy wrappers.

Just click on them and then click to make them their largest size to print. If you have a problem printing them off just ask and I will email you the originals. :) Of course I have more twilight stuff so just ask if there is something you are looking for!

It's a Jesse the Cowgirl themed Birthday Party! Yee-Haw!

I just wanted to share my daughter's 6th Birthday Party with everyone. It was this summer and I didn't have a blog then so I thought I would add it now. I wish I could have gotten better pics but like always we were running late and I was still decorating when guests began to show up! Tipical for me. We're always late for everything.....pretty sad when its your own party you're hosting huh? Anywaaaays.....This first photo is of the Jesse pinata I made myself. I was searching everywhere for a pinata and they were all so expensive and I couldnt find Jesse decorations anywhere! Of course they have Toy Story party supplies but not of Jesse by herself and thats what my daughter wanted. No Buzz! She just likes Woody and Jesse. So.......I made just about everything and had to rack my brain thinking of how I was going to pull off a Jesse themed party without being able to go out and just buy the stuff! So here's how it turned out! I hope you enjoy and if you want to throw your own Jesse the Cowgirl themed party just let me know and I will email you the supplies that you can print from your own computer!

Here is the pinata that I made from an empty box and tissue paper! The entire thing cost me......drum roll please...... $1.00! Can you believe it? Not too bad for only a buck, huh? I may have to post a tutorial on here if there is anyone out there wanting to know how to make your own pull string pinata! The awesome thing about it is, the kids didnt have to beat it up! They just took turns pulling a string until finally someone pulled the right one!  

The next photo is the "watering hole" which is a barrel I borrowed from a friend. We filled it with ice and drinks. I thought it was pretty darn cute! How about you?

Next up is the party favors! These weren't all I gave the little kiddos but these are the ones that I made.

I bought western themed plates, cups, napkins, blow outs, etc from Hobby Lobby but I had to add Jesse in here and there too.

I used the original blow out piece for my pattern. I just printed off the design on cardstock and used the pattern to trace around it and cut it out and put my new one on the blow outs.

For the next party favor was miniature hershey chocolates. I made my design and printed it off on address labels and they fit perfectly around the little sweets! 

For the last favor that I made was little bubbles. I got lucky and found boxes of these little bubbles at the Dollar Tree! I think there were 8 in a box! They came with no labels on them so I did the same and wrapped the labels I used for the chocolates on them. I thought they were pretty darn cute if I do say so myself!

You can't tell in this photo but I bought a Jail prop online for around $6.00. The kids had so much fun taking turns getting their mug shots taken! Again, my sister got all the good pictures....I will have to get them from her!

I just HAD to add this next photo! This is my friend's daughter. Isn't this just precious?! I absolutely LOVE this pic! Look at those curls!!! She is wearing one of the party favors, a cowgirl hat! I got lucky again when I found cowboy hats at a different Dollar Tree! They were pretty rough looking so I spray painted some red for the girls and some black for the boys. 

Of course I had to make the birthday girl's resemble Jesse's hat so I added 3/8" white ribbon around the edges and 7/8" ribbon around the center.

This is the invitation that I made. I don't have photoshop or any expensive program but I thin it turned out cute! This isn't the exact one that I used though. I ended up changing the font style because the rope font that I had here made the words look blurry. I just used the rope font where it says "Hey Lil Partners" and used Disney font for the rest!  I free handed the cow spots and found the Jesse pic through google search and just cut out the background. I don't know much about graphic design so I went the hard way and used the crop and cut it out by hand (or should I say mouse? I don't know lol). I found the rope frame through google search too and added it on and then colored in the red to add a little color. I also made one wth a black frame with yellow writing and couldn't decide which one I liked better so I just printed off both! I have a blank one of these saved on my computer because I sold it on etsy back when I had an etsy store. If you want one just ask! After all, its FREE! Can't beat that!

Now on to the banner! I just went to good ole' paint on my computer (which everyone has), chose the star shape and made it pretty big. I then free handed some cow spots with the paint brush, the bigger stroke the better so its quicker! Next I put another star shape for the outline in the middle and made it red. I used Rope font for the letters, which I downloaded for FREE on fontspace.com! I made up enough to say "Happy 6th Birthday Brooklyn". I punched holes on each side of the star with a hole punch and connected them together with ribbon. Super easy to make but if you want, I could email you the Happy Birthday part and if you need the Jesse design for FREE. :)

Last pic is of one of the cupcake centers I made. I made Bullseye, Woody, and Jesse. I also have Buzz, an alien, and a couple others made up too but didn't use those for the party! Again, email me if you want these for FREE!

Sorry this is so long guys! But another thing that I don't have a pic of is the food! We had to go western style so here is a list of some of the food we had and what we had wrote beside them to make the food more fun... I saw this on another blog but can't remember who's it was so credit does not go to me for this idea! I borrowed it. :)

FREE BOTTLE CAP IMAGES FOR YOU!!

For those of you who make bottle caps for hair bows, magnets, pins, or etc. these are for you! I used to make and sell bottle cap images on etsy but now I just make them mostly for myself and sell them when someone asks me. If anyone needs any bottle cap images, email me because I have hundreds of them and sell them for 1.00 per sheet! Toilet Paper Candles!

Yes, you read right! This cute decorative candle is made out of a roll of toilet paper!! So easy and cheap to make and are great for home decor and gift giving! The little thing on top is a battery operated candle (flameless tealight candle) dipped in wax! So sorry about the nasty mirror in this pic...lol...thats what happens when you have hot oil fragrance burners and they explode all over your mirror when it starts to run out of fragrance! LOL anyway.....here are the instructions to show just how easy these are!

Supplies:
1 Roll of toilet paper (any kind)
Wax (I got mine from Hobby Lobby)
Fragrance (also got from HL)
Crayon (to add color)

Step 1:
First you need to melt your wax in a pot. Depending on how many of these you want to make, I would use 1-2 lbs. for one candle just to make sure you have enough. You can always remelt the wax and use it antoher time. I bought the 10 lb wax at Hobby Lobby and just broke off chunks with hammer and screw driver until I thought I had enough. You can guess pretty easily on how much to use. I use a big pot (filled with 2 cups of water) then put a smaller pot in that and put the wax in the smaller pot. This will melt the wax. DO NOT put wax in a pot directly on the burner and try to melt it that way, you will catch it on fire! (Be sure to put the pot with wax in another pot filled with water when melting wax.) Wax should become melted in about 10 minutes on high. Stir occasionally.

Step 2:
Once your wax becomes melted, pour a few drops of fragrance into the wax. Put however many drops you want, depending on how strong you want your scented candle to be. I use about 5 drops. This is the time to also add in your crayon. Start off with a small piece and keep adding more for desired color. The more you add, the darker it will become. Be sure to remove the label from the crayon before putting into the wax though! Keep stirring occassionally to mix in the color and fragrance.

Step 3:
When your wax is completely melted and you have stirred in the desired amount of fragrance and color, turn off your stove and remove the pot with the wax out of the larger pot and set to the side. To get the grungy lumpy candle look (that I LOVE) let the wax cool until it starts becoming lumpy. This usually takes around 5 minutes or so. Just keep an eye on it. Even if you dont want the grungy look, you will still need to let it cool slightly because if you try to put the toilet paper in it, it will just soak up the wax and become super heavy and won't cover the outside very good and thats definitely not what we're going for!

Step 4:
Once your wax is to the point of where it is getting lumpy, take tongs (or use your hands like I do if its not too hot) and dip your toilet paper in the wax and roll it around and keep dipping as you twirl it around until you get the look you want! Let it sit to cool for about 15 minutes before decorating!

Step 5:
Now that your "candle" has cooled it is time to decorate! Decorate it however you want! I use fabric, anything that has a flat back. I have used ornaments, stars for the primitive look, berries, flowers, bows, ribbon, etc!

Step 6: (optional)
If you want the little battery operated tea light on top, you will need to have a different color wax melted. (or you can use the same if you prefer!) I use a small pot for this because it doesnt take very much to cover it. I do it the same way as the toilet paper and wait till it gets lumpy and then I use my fingers to help cover it. Use a paintbrush or something like that if its too hot for you to touch. Don't dip it in the wax, because it may ruin the battery inside and cause it not to light. Be sure not to get it on the flame part so you can see the light. Now, your finished! Oh and one tip if you dont want people to know its toilet paper is to glue a piece of paper over the hole on the bottom before you cover in wax and it hides the hole! Also, try to cover the inside of the roll a little with wax so its not so noticeable.

My first outfit! Woo-Hoo!

I made this Christmas outfit for my little girl a few days ago and wanted to share! This was my first outfit ever and I am so proud of myself! I made a pillowcase dress with matching jeans and hair bows! I usually just make bows and simple crafts and I was going to buy one since I hadn't tried making clothes yet, but my husband insisted I try to make one first so we did it together! Yes, he actually helped me! I am so glad he insisted I make one because I think it turned out so cute! Even her shoes matched! These shoes came without laces so of course I had to add matching green ribbon to them! Too much? Probably but I thought it was cute anyway! I think I did a pretty good job overall, especially for my first outfit! What do you think?
